Craven's Craving Fig ripen on 10/8/2021 in Seattle, WA No shuffling this year I recommend this variety in pot and shuffling recommended to ripen properly in Seattle, WA size: large flavor: Black Madeira Type ripening time: late not split resistance even though it has been raining the last week and the split the flavor remains not watered down and full of flavor overall ratings out of this world 10/10 why ripening i gave it 3 stars? meaning without shuffling in Seattle, WA I had only 1 properly ripen fruit when this young tree had roughly a dozen fruit. If I had shuffle it/ had it in a greenhouse I'm sure most of the fruits it sets it will ripen properly. So the 3 star rating for ripening would be higher under the right conditions. This type of variety will be high maintenance just like Black Madeira Fig types. If you don't intend to give it extra care it might not ripen well for cool short summers climates like Seattle, WA.
