Description
(syn. Caprificus leucocarpa Gasparrini). Described and illustrate Gasparrini (1845); description quoted by Vallese (1904). A variety little grown near Naples, as it produces few blastophagas. Mamme about 1 inch long, smooth, turbinate; color green to violet. Profichi about twice as large as Mamme ; color pale green; pulp white. The "Bianco" described by DE Rosa (1911) AP pears to be a different variety.
