Described and illustrated by Vallese (1909); cultivated under other names near Lecce, and in many adjacent districts. Tree vigorous; leaves of medium size, generally 3-lobed; sinuses deep. Mamme crop small. Profichi large, pyriform, with long neck; color green, dotted with white flecks; interior white; cavity relatively small. Season first ten days of July. Mammoni very few.
