In zone 9b this variety usually ripens from the second week in July, through the third week in September. The crop is moderate in size at any given time, but the continuous production of wonderfully flavored figs throughout the two months makes this one of the varieties that I can unhesitatingly recommend to someone in a warm climate that wants but a single tree on their property.
