Description
Sweet Diana is an early fruiter... bearing its ripe Main crop of figs in late July on the west coast. The fruit can vary in flavor, with some tasting of pure strawberries, while other figs have a flavor of blended Concord Grape and Caramel. Most of the figs are smaller, having the size of a 25 cent-piece. No splitting has ever been noted... and the figs can be allowed to dry on the tree without fear of souring. The crop size is average, and the tree is an extremely robust grower. The figs take on a dusty, light pastel purple coloring as they ripen. Doug
