Second year tree that broke dormancy in late May and by the start of July had set almost 50 figs. First one ripened in mid September with at least three per day swelling and coloring after the first was picked. Typical Mt Etna with jammy texture, rich berry berry flavor that lingers, and medium seed crunch.

a hint of berry
In 2018, I tasted this and the fruits were small size. I enjoyed the hint of berry flavor. I love that is cold hardy I didn't see any dieback. However, due to its late ripening, in 2019 all the figs that were on the tree didn't ripen. My friend's tree-ripened in the End of August/First week of September in 2019. In a good year, this is a great fig to have. I rate it 6/10
