This fig was reportedly found at an abandoned home site on the Stallion AFB in New Mexico. Some have said it is a 'Blue Celeste' but without genetics we will never know, the background history is lost. This is the smallest fig I have grown, but very tasty. It does taste a lot like Celeste, I think, though I have no ripe Celeste to compare. The three figs in the main photo were the first harvested from my plant and weighed 8, 9 and 12 grams. It seems relatively early for me. Has a strong sweet flavor with some berry overtones.submitted by eboone
