My tree ripened fruit late this year, however I have to say that my tree was a rooted cutting started in February, which grew into a fully branched 4 ft tree by September and was loaded with fruit at every node. Next year I'd have a better gauge of when it starts ripening. The flavor was mild, sort of figgy vanilla and very pleasing. I found that this variety is very prolific and very vigorous - will definitely get a permanent spot in my yard for years to come.
