Found a fig seedling tree that is giant in my moms back field. This tree gets no water so im surprised there are figs and its doing so well. The figs on this tree are small and as you see inside color is red and OMG... the flavor is the most intense berry flavor ive ever experienced before...like rich sweet strawberry. So happy to have found it. I will make cuttings of it and make more trees. I bet if properly cared for, this tree would get even bigger figs. It does not matter though..the flavor is so incredible. This is my new favorite fig so far. Does it look or sound like any particular variety? I know its a seedling as its growing wild in blueberry field in wrong location....growing next to male Caprifig . I wonder what this trees parentage is.
