Description
A rare heirloom fig that came from a large botanical garden in Spian. Nuestra Señora del Carmen is an extremely rare cultivar from Spain that produces figs from August to October. It is a common type cultivar with very rich tasty complex flavor. Produces very sweet juicy delicious figs that ripen nicely on it's branches.
Eric Durtschi:
Deep rich berry flavor, dense and meaty, awesome seed crunch, complex flavor reminiscent of tart cherry peel and mulling spices... the flavor just kept revealing new layers.
