Description
It is not known if this requires pollination so please don't buy this unless you want to take a gamble. That said, I usually see lots of dried up dropped figs on Smyrna types but the only dropped figs here were ripe ones that fell down.
This is for a wonderful fig that I found in 2018 in Santa Barbara.
The figs are very good and have a unique flavor to them sort of mango and pineapple but the most prominent flavor is that of strawberry. Seriously, I had some that were super ripe and it was like eating a fantastic ripe strawberry. These figs are large. The figs from the mother tree are grown mostly in the shade but my little tree that I started was in full sun and the figs were even better.
