Description
This is not a seedling but an Italian heirloom that was simply called Fico Giallo (Yellow Fig). I would love to identify it as it was phenomenal. It is confirmed common as he used to live on the east coast and had this growing there before bringing it to CA when he moved. The darker red ones were pollinated and the lighter ones were not.
This fig was one of the most raspberry tasting figs I have tried and had a very soft skin. - Eric Durtschi
