Description

San Marcos is another Italian heirloom. It also appears to have a Breba crop forming and I will update if they ripen. The figs are excellent quality. This is a Black +madeira"> Black madeira like fig but larger. It might need pollination as the owner said there are years when it drops most figs.

The new owner of the house did not know much about the origin but I asked the neighbor and she had known the original owner and had talked to him about it. He was an italian that brought this with him when he migrated over.
