Description
From David:
2019 Find: “Firehouse” is quite a fig. It has a unique flavor and texture profile, that of apple pie filling with a hint of spiciness in the skin similar to a cinnamon sugar, and a berry tang finish. The thicker skin is not chewy, but still firm to bite in to. Firehouse has a mild seed, golden part of the fruit is more apple pie, and the red carries a berry tang.
Yellow to burnt orange and amber. Velvet skin, false eyes w/honey
