Description
An old reliable variety. Blanche is considered the true name of this variety. Medium to large sized greenish yellow, top shaped (turbinate) fruit with white pulp. Has no neck. Outstanding flavor but very delicate. Adapted throughout the South. Fairly cold Hardy . Ripens early—begins around July 14 in Central Alabama. Height 15 to 20 feet. Makes a good container plant for your patio or deck.
Not to be confused with White Marseilles and or Lattarula/Italian Honey which are two totally different fig varieties.
