Description
Cold Hardy ! The Bari fig variety is a Mount Etna type fig originating from Bari, Italy and brought to the US by a member of the Armed Forces. It has ties to the Willow Grove Naval Air Base located in Pennsylvania. Shows extreme cold hardiness. Discovered in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Although the mother tree was reportedly never protected, it has survived many zone 7 Pennsylvania winters, showing its hardiness.
