I have tasted this variety caprified, from California and it was an amazing fig!
This review is from my experience, growing it in South Florida.
This variety simply does not work at all here. The fact that it is hot, extremely humid and rains a lot makes this fig one of the worst. Taste is not even good. Looks are bad as the fig shows all the rust due to humidity and the intense heat just does not let this fig grow to its potential. So my low rating is based on these factors.
However, I will grow this fig again in the future and experiment with it under different circumstances and changes such as new location where rain and heat does not get to it and see if it makes a difference.
