Fruit was from a first year tree and though small was better than expected. Ripened perfectly within a few days after swelling and coloring, so no long hang time was needed. Sweet with a touch of berry richness hinting at the fig's future potential. Eleven weeks from fruit set to ripe.
i like RDB flavor compared to my VDB. it is a small size mildly sweet fruit quite productive tree. they split compared to VDB in fall when we have too much rain. literally the all the figs never ripens it would split. comparing to my VDB never splits. cold hardy.
