Description

Based upon genetic testing performed in 2010, Black ">Beer’s Black ( DFIC 277), Violette DE Bordeaud ( DFIC 63) and Vista ( DFIC 259) were determined to be synonyms. See Genetic structure and differentiation in cultivated fig (Ficus carica L.)

Vista is a rich tasting variety with medium sized fruit. It fruits early, often the first year. It is thought to be similar to, but better than DE -bordeaux">Violette DE Bordeaux.
