I think other descriptions are very accurate to my experience with this variety. Medium vigor, squat main crop, very distinct interior. One of the more unique figs out there. The skin for me was thicker around the eye and more toothsome. The skin had a slightly bittersweet sweet flavor, reminiscent of some varieties of grape skin. Dried portions of my first figs definitely had a burnt sugar/butterscotch kind of flavor. Very good. I’m looking forward to tasting more later this year and putting this tree in the ground.
