Description
The following is an excerpt from the Belleclare Nursery variety list, circa 2006:
Medium, Reddish Brown, Dark Red Center, Sweet (2crops)
This is a Mt Etna class purple fig with decent cold tolerance. It was brought to the US by an immigrant couple from the island of Chios, Greece, who grew it in their yard in Lancaster PA for many years.
