Sourced from Bill who got it from Bass. I spoken to Bass, he told me he has several Byadi Figs. The word "Byadi" means "White Fig" in Arabic. He names it based on where he got it from. This particular fig was from Syria. The flavor of this fig is very similar to what is common here in the US known as White Marsailles aka Italian Honey Fig. The leaves of Syrian Byadi are different, the fruit has a softer texture less seedy. This is a common fig that does not need wasp. Very productive at a young age.
Mildly sweet
Fruit Small (fruit should be medium to large fruit as it mature)
