Description
Introduced by Louisiana Stated University fig breeding program. Yellow skin and sweet flavor. LSU Scott's Yellow produces a Breba crop and an early Main crop .
Ram's (ramv) experience with this variety:
This is a very nice yellow honey fig that produces a Breba and an early Prolific Main crop .
Closed eye and able to handle the constant Seattle rain without splitting.
Dense fig with melon/honey sweetness. Tasted very different from other pure honey figs in that it was sweet with a dense but mild flavor. Grown outside since last year with zero protection. Produced a few Breba crop in addition to the Main crop ripening now.

Some people know this variety as LSU Brandy or simply Brandy. There was never an LSU Brandy. That name came about according to Brian (CajunB) as quoted below:
"According to JR , James Robins, its the same,he renamed it after his granddaughter."
