Hello!

I am a newbie fig grower and member, located in Santa Barbara, California. Thanks in advance for any knowledge and advice you can share.

A grower in Ventura recently sold me a rooted cutting of a variety he called Stephanie. He said the fruit is green when ripe. I believe he also said it is Greek in origin. Here is a picture.

I'm surprised to see almost no online mention of a Stephanie variety. Do any of you know of such a variety? Anything you can tell me about it?

Thank you!

Welcome Dave, hopefully someone out there has heard of this variety. It has not been mentioned to me before and that's probably why I haven't added it to the database.
